Does anyone know anything else about this guy? He looks like a great athlete that we could SERIOUSLY use on our team. I sure hope he chooses UL. From the sound of it on Scout.com he may just do that.

He is a " 4 star" recruit for what that's worth !!! I'll bet my bottom dollar if he commits / signs he will be quickly reduced to a 2 star. We can definitely use him, though.

The UL Coaching staff has picked up the services of another player with incredible potential. I am not sure everyone appreciates the potential of this 2008 recruiting class.

I think that UL is benefiting hugely from the internet recruiting services affects on HS football recruiting. Players that are late bloomers, played behind a stud senior during their junior season, or played a position that was not featured by their school's scheme, are pretty much overlooked by most bigtime programs these days. Most large programs had already extended the majority of their offers, prior to anyone playing a single down of their senior season. The timetable used to be that coaches reviewed senior film in late November, extended offers in December, and guys made decisions after taking their visits. The accelerated timeline has opened the door for the UL staff to capitalize on the flawed system, and go after the late bloomers.

As well, I think we are talking about the same kid. Glad to hear that you will be doing a report on him, his coach said that he has become a hot prospect here lately, with several schools on him right after UL offered.
