This is certainly true. We already had one FB coach that had developed a pipeline into FL, and we added a DB coach this year that had coaching experience and knowledge of the South FL area, being as he was from there, coached there, and played there.

Well I have read all the comments from the so called know it alls and those who seem to have a good feel for things. First I will address the comments on the QB that has committed to the Cajuns. This kid is a really good player and he fits what we do offensively. Now the schools that stayed on him heavy were the schools that wanted him as a QB. All others backed off because he did not want to play another position. That’s does not mean he is not quality recruit. As I remember the young man from down the road who is the same type of player was not heavily recruited because he did not want to change positions and he is one of the Cajuns best players. Oh yeah we got Brian M. because he did not want to be close to his mom and the Cajuns allowed him to play QB unlike other schools who wanted him as a RB or DB. I also remember some who thought that we should have taken Patrick Jackson over Fenroy. Fenroy was not heavily recruited. Now look at what he has done for this program. How about the big QB from the area who was highly recruited, oh yeah he gave it up. For those who don’t know or think they know it all programs recruit players who fit there program. They should not be concerned with who else is recruiting them. Here is one for you the small guy T Holiday was not heavily recruited either and the Tigers took him at the last minute. More to come

Now as I rember a couple mounths ago some of you so called cajun fans thought that the cajuns should not recruite the Florida kids. They were just getting low level athletes from that area while the other florida schools were getting the better ones. It was stated that the cajuns should look closer to home or should I say stay in state more. Now that the cajuns have a kid thats a good player from their own backyard you all are still complaining. Did you know that C. Mich tried to come back and recruite the kid after he committed to the cajuns. Does this still make the coaching staff seem to go after kids who are below our program. There is a differance on being recruited by a school or a school just showing you interest. So whats next for the know it alls only recruite kids from the acadiana location. Well the coaching staff is already doing that and are having trouble finding kids with grades. Any other suggestions. Last thing I keep hearing that the sun belt is the worst confer in america. WWOOWW cant see how that can be so when teams from the SBC has only beat Houston (conf USA CHAMPS), OK ST., Ala, Mis, and others. Lets stop making stuff up people.

Read earlier this season that the Cajuns pulled their offer to T Holliday. You just never know!

Anybody have any idea how this would effect the two QBs that red-shirted this year? If we have three pretty good guys on the team, all within a year of each other, somebody will get left out. Are they planning on moving some of these guys to other parts of the field?

I can remember just a couple of years ago when UNT was the team to beat in the SBC.

He is a winner for sure...really impressed with this kid!

"In a battle of state finalists from 2006, Lutcher relied on the heroics of celebrated quarterback Blaine Gautier to rout St. Charles Catholic, 30-9.

Lutcher made like the defending Class 3A champion that it is, with Gautier throwing for two touchdowns and running for two more. In all, Gautier accounted for 312 yards of total offense."

“He’s a winner, plain and simple,” Lutcher coach Tim Detillier coach told the Times-Picayune of New Orleans. “He has a strong arm, he throws with touch, he’s mobile, and he’s accurate.”
