Ha! Your survey is ripe for misinterpretation. And again, salary surveys that do not include cost of living, are irrelevant. What Tech grads, by discipline, make more money than equivalent UL grads? If you compare similar degrees, and cost of living of the career location... I guarantee you Tech gets taken down many notches. I don't recall ever participating in a survey on salary and haven't met a UL contemporary that has. That alone makes the survey a pile of BS.
Plus, we all know Tech people exaggerate. So, if it was done without verifying the results, you have to use the "blue tarp rule" and remove 20% from the Tech salaries being reported.
UL is notorious for under-reporting on figures that are flattering. We had a football game where our admin admitted the ticket counters stopped counting, but instead of estimating up, we chose to just use the number counted. Hell, the state tried to give us another L in our name. We told them we only needed one. Keep the other one for someone else who needs it. That's the way we roll. You guys lie and exaggerate.
