I watched quite a bit of your game against Oklahoma. While i was more impressed than I thought I'd be, that's to say that I felt you looked better than a 4 win team but I still feel the Cajuns are better. Learning about your team was similar to learning about the cajuns playing the Jags. We were up early and stayed ahead and we really didn't learn a whole lot just like you guys got bent pretty good early on and were never really in the game. I have no idea what to expect from your team on either side of the ball.

With that said, I feel the cajuns are the more complete team. I feel that we are better and deeper along the front lines and I don't think you will be prepared for the size at receiver we have. If you go man to man like Southern, you will get burned.....Period. If you go too much zone, you will open up the run game and allow us to pick you apart in the middle.

As in "unforced" (ie we completely lay an egg and snap over the QB's head... ). I'm just differentiating between a well timed interception, good pop or stick that unloads the ball, or a guy stripping the ball out.

Poor execution leads to turnovers as well as good defensive plays. While there may be a myriad of variables that contribute to any given play, none of them can be used as an excuse by either team imo.

I think you had other choices following Dooley. Everyone has to replace coaches. I don't think it's coincidental that Tech hired Dooley/Dykes/Holtz. You probably won't lose Holtz to a higher bidder.

I know you look down on people that are from outside Laffy, but do you downright detest people that venture outside your beloved city for college?

I'm not sure where you're going with that question, but no, I don't look down on any level-headed individual that was good enough to earn a degree, no matter the institution. I had a supervisor while I was in Air Traffic Control tell me "You want some good life advice? Never believe you're own bull____." Tech, Ryan St High, ULMost and Tiger fans (most of whom have never set foot inside a class room of higher learning) have not yet learned that life lesson.

Also, the towns their Universities call home smell.. Of Papermills, corndogs, manure, etc.

Broadway and this offense, IMO, are at its best when he is a running option. When they try to get the ball out of his hands to keep him from getting injured, they take a component of his game out that he is very dangerous. Our offense is at its best when he is a threat to run even when throwing. The D line will be key for us as you guys seem to really use the short passing game a lot which means there probably won't be a ton of opportunities for sacks and such. We will have to provide a rush and not lose our assignments in the secondary like we did a couple of times last weekend. I think Tech will have more weapons at the WR spots than Southern so they would make us pay more if we make those mistakes.

I still think we are going to move the ball on Tech as their defense is likely improved from last year but still doesn't appear to have made large strides. I think they are going to be in for a long day to stop our rushing game and Broadway's success will determine how well we move the ball.

UL is ranked around 210 and is quickly gaining in the highly subjective rankings. Doc 1!is the real indicator of academic excellence and neither school is there. Both UL and Tech are SREB Doctoral 2 universities. UL is Carnegie rated RU/H as is Tech. UL is a Rockefeller Top 100 Research universities. Tech is not. UL has more PHDs than Tech. UL has more than triple the Research dollars and has more Research than the all UL System schools combined. UL has more than double the Endowment of Tech. And, UL has almost double the enrollment. Quit perpetuating the myth that Tech is academically superior.

Fair enough. OU has a really good offense. In fact, they might have the best offense in the country this year. It is difficult to determine how ULL's offense will fare against Tech based on that one game. I agree much of the burden will be shouldered by Broadway, and his performance. We have been downright pitiful offensively up to this point under Holtz. If you guys can stop Dixon, you'll win the game.
