Louisiana Bowl Eligible, Ticket Reservations Underway

RCAF member and season ticket holder. Personally delivered my ticket request for 6 non-priority tickets before the Feb. 6th deadline. Still no call. Just saying.....

However, I did check and my credit card was charged on Feb. 11. Maybe my envelope is stuck on the bottom and has been misplaced or something. I don't know. I guess I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait patiently for my call. Just a little frustrated is all.

They got them from the ticket office with a regular form filled out. To be fair, that's what I did last year and was in 114 I think, so I guess I am one who people were mad at last year. I really would like to participate and become a part of the solution not just a complainer. Hope we can have that chance

How big is their group? If it's small, I could see a situation where there are small pockets in every section that can only fit 2 or 3 tickets and they may have been squeezed in there.

I understand your frustration but the ticket office has come out and said that the endzone seats that were previously part of UL's allotment are now reserved for sponsors, so the the only place to put the people was up. And they also thought it unfair to separate people from the main group of Cajun fans by putting them on the ECU side.

This is a good problem to have. I heard an interview with Jacques Doucet this morning relative to LSU and their bowl game. He said they have sold only 10,000 of their 16,000 ticket allotment as of a few days ago. I say lets enjoy the ride, go to the game and have a good time. We have come a long way from Jerry Baldwin.

February 11th? Huh? I think you get dates and numbers mixed up. I wonder if you also gave them the wrong call back number. You may need to call the ticket office and give them your name.

I agree. All I know about our seats now is the view that I find online. Have been to the dome several times but never sat in that level so not sure what the game will look like from there. It will be up to us to make it a great event. I hope that there are enough of us in that level to make it a great atmosphere

I believe I know my own number and the automated service for my credit card probably has their dates correct. All dates for other charges on my card were all correct. Thanks for the advice....

I think the goal should be eliminating the mystery that lies in the paper stacks is all. A simple plug in if populated correctly could make the process of gauging demand and roll out much more streamlined allowing the ticket office to push tickets the old fashioned way outside of Lafayette to surrounding cities

Maybe they could update the university website and athletics websites as well.

Imagine all the end zone people now in 600, there will be plenty of people up there. They really aren't bad seats, you can see the whole field and you can actually see the plays develop better

Haha. I just got it. My bad. DECEMBER 6th deadline. Thanks. Wish I could say I was drinking already, but that's not the case. Next Saturday is a different story. We'll all be starting early!
