Attacking Camz for not joining the RCAF probably won't make him want to join the RCAF.
Dude wanted tickets but didn't want to wait weeks and weeks to get them. He's the customer and he is free to buy however he wants to buy. UL missed out on a sale because their system was way too slow. Oh well.
You might be onto something there. I need to work on my comprehension skills. I interpreted your comments as thinking you expected special treatment when the reality is you're just a ____ing moron. Despite numerous news articles and comments here on this forum about the staff still processing ticket orders already taken, you expected to walk right up on Monday and immediately walk away tickets before those with advanced orders got theirs. I wouldn't be surprised if you expected them to be prime 50 yard line seats too.
rcaf season ticket holders are the best... cream of the crop.
non rcaf and non sth should be treated with disregard.
I think everyone is a little tired of hearing all of the moaning and groaning about tickets. Empathy for non RCAF members is in short supply by RCAF members. Some of these same people are the ones that volunteer quite a bit, and it gets on their last nerve to hear people talk about some of their minor issues. Even RCAF members are on the tail end of getting tickets assigned... and there are going to be a lot of RCAF/season ticket holder bowl ticket requests on the edges of the alloted tickets.
If people decide to go through ticketmaster, so be it. If your loyalty to UL isn't enough for you to be a minimum RCAF member... and/or you are not connected to an RCAF member to be included in their ticket group... but you are still looking for tickets... you are, at best, "loosely" attached to UL. There are people that have a rising passion and may become more connected to UL by joining RCAF... and they are not going to let a bowl ticket inconvenience... or someone on RP popping them... from becoming a part of the support system.
I know plenty of people that are actually looking for an excuse to pass on holding onto the rope. They keep looking for the sled that we're all pulling to see if the seats are comfortable and luxurious enough for them to ride on and be seen on... before they "honor us" with their coveted membership.
I wouldnt call not being a RCAF member loosly attached. There are many people here that are UL graduates that have followed this team through good years and stretches of horrible years. Some people me included live distances away and can not get to all of the games so being a season ticket holder would be a waste of money. So really we need all of our fans and for all of the fans to be treated with respect. Yes this process could have been handled better, and yes season ticket holders and rcaf members should have the better seats and first shot at seats, but we do not know all of the facts of when or how many some of these rcaf and season ticket requested their tickets, example if a "casual" fan put in his request the day after the bowl was announced and the rcaf member put in a request last week should the rcaf member be placed before the other person. These are hard issues that I for one would not like to address.
I am thankful that we are going to a bowl that is codusive for our fan base and that the dome will be a sea of red and I hope for an early Christmas present of a UL win this weekend
Let's sell more tickets than Florida and show Louisville who the real UL is.
