This portal transition is still tough. I’m getting better at it but I’m still old school.

1) We need a couple portal commits to boost our Christmas spirit.

2) Going JC out of HS just became more big and meaningful for OL et DL than going to FCS or G5 out of High School. 2-3 years to mature your body....gain size et strength WITHOUT using any NIL years of eligibility .

3) Our JC exposure in football is minimal. Baseball on the other hand........I'd guess at least half the players on Sun Belt rosters are JC transfers. Caviat being they HAVE to start as a JC. If you start at NCAA school then transfer to a JC it's too late.....your play 4 in 5 years clock started. Players need to go straight to JC to leverage this new ruling.

Yes....IF he started as a JC player then to UL. His NCAA clock never started.

No if he started on a NCAA team then transferred to JC. His 5 years to play 4 NCAA Clock would have started prior to JC.
