So are you saying NOBODY more experienced than a TE coach that's never coached anywhere else is ALL UL could have hired for $750,000?
And, btw, they overpaid Des by a few hundred thousand based on his experience.

Best post on this forum this year. Des should have gotten $250k and lots of incentives. He would have taken it because it was his big chance, and right now we would have paid two bonuses for going to a bowl game. We would have saved $500 or more in two years, and we could have afforded to buy him out this year and done a search for a legit college level head coach.
