After 18 years at MTSU, Stockstill shown the door.

People get mad that we have partnered with Marlin for so long. Can you imagine a football coach for 18 years? And not one that was winning at really any impressive consistency?

In 18 years and in 2 different conferences, Stockstill won only 1 conference championship and that was in his first year and in the SunBelt back when it was still the worst G5 league.

MTSU won their division once in the 11 years they were in C-USA.

Overall, his record was 113-111.

Bowl game record: 4-6.

I could be wrong but i think he got fired.

No articles showing him fired, still listed on school website. No articles regarding the investigation since October. However, someone named Mark Freeman is showed also as head coach, but Freeman is not listed on the school website.

But the team is in the semis, no players removed from roster that I can find.

In the Baldwin case the deal was made to get the support and strong endorsement of Cleo Fields in the black community. Cleo and Jerry were very close. That’s why the deal was done. To the 2 Rays in MH, Kathleen in the mansion was much more important than our college football team.
