I can't believe that some (or many) of you think that there should be some huge increase in attendance at this point. The product (UL football) to the average common fan, is the same as it has been. Until there is a consistent upward trajectory in the program, and until this team can start winning meaningful games, against good programs, then why expect anything more. The common fan is not interested in losing football. Just the way it is. It was a good win today, but it did not, repeat, did not raise the status of this program, so don't expect it. Napier has it going in the right direction, it's just going to take time to build up some excitement around a struggling program, and that is what it is at this point.

Have a contest among the fraternities and sororities. The ones (one for each) with the largest attendance get a chance for a free scholarship. Each student gets one chance for every game they attend. But, only the students in the winning frat and sorority get a chance in the raffle.
This would increase incentive for each to compete for the highest attendance.

No sir, homecoming is a different animal. We have an admin that is making the correct moves. We have a new staff rebuilding a previously bad situation. We have a team that has steadily improved, even though the beginning of the season left plenty to be desired. We had perfect weather. We had Dohman and Mason going into the HOF.

Regardless of the SBC, level of play, opponent, etc; 18k is an abomination.
