I Would LOVE to get rid of that stupid mascot.... Man no offense, but pepper man looks like a cheap halloween costume from party city. I would love to see Mr. Ragin Cajun back... or the bulldog, anything or nothing....I would rather have none then Pepper man.

Cayenne is a joke, wasn't he hired with Baldwin, then why wasn't he fired with Baldwin? Cayenne the pecker headed pepper is the reason this program can't get on track.

At least, Saturday night, our mascot, Cayenne, gave to their mascot a hemorroid. Come on ICE CREAM.

fyi.... Cayenne was one of the most popular mascots at a UDA/UCA College camp this summer which had major Universities from around the nation such as Florida State, LSU, Alabama, so on and so forth. We have a very unique mascot and there is absolutley NOTHING wrong with Cayenne.... Instead of criticizing everything about UL, we should act like real fans and embrace our culture. Everyone looooves Cayenne except for the few people who are actually from here who want the Bulldog back. Just stop complaining!!!!

Look, I can see what you are saying, but, seriously take a look at Cayenne, if we keep Cayenne, we need to recreate the design of the costume or something.

The point of a mascot is to get the crowd into the game. Cayenne does nothing much to get the crowd involved.

Now on the other hand, McNeese's Mascot was all over the field, and was fully involved in the game.

Just so you know we did a poll and Cayenne tied for 3rd with the BullDog.

Someone told me as recent as yesterday that it takes a genius to notice what is right under everyone’s nose. (I'm paraphrasing) but his point was sometimes the most obvious or the best fit is right there for all to see, but it gets overlooked.

UL has a BullGator habitat worth MILLION$ right there in the middle of campus prime. Link to Mascot Poll
