The entire point of the petition, the posts, the radio show last night was to show people what they ARE NOT GETTING. Steve Hale...is the Hud version of an AD. So now you know what we missed out on, so that when the hire comes down the pipe...you know what we missed out on. The administration did all it could to hope they could make the hire and no one would be missing out on anything. Thanks to people like C4L, MAT, and the Eauxkers...we learned what as going on. Thank the maker for their actions. Had we not found this out...we would have been blissfully ignorant.
Add Cajun T to that list, a key cog indeed. I appreciate that words Hawk but my input goes as far as this: I was sick and tired of the charade happening in Martin Hall. I just asked the right questions, at the right times, and contacted the right people. Folks that share your passion will immediately recognize the genuine concern and be more than willing to help you. Anyone can do whats been done here over the last week. The key is, you just have to not give a ____ about how they'll try to smear you.
I'll also add this: From all the circles around school, the selection was widely expected to be announced last Thurs-Fri. Then is was rumored to be Mon-Tues.. Well, since we started the uproar, don't you find it at least a little interesting that no one has been named yet?
I know these things for 100% fact: 3 of the 5 committee members know about the petition and whats going on here, 2 of the 5 for sure were on RP last night and listened to the Hale interview, the Asst AD is vigorously investigating who started the petition, and Charlie is kicking himself for getting involved. I strongly believe that this thing is not over, that's why I keep asking you guys to keep the pressure on.
Should we even discuss the bizarreness of Moncla? What was that statement about interviewing last year? Is there something more there? I'm appreciative of the money he has given but does that mean you should be allowed to make decisions that effect the long term viability of athletics? I know farmer is getting a ton of heat and rightfully so but there has to but a few board members willing to stand up and do what's right. I'm referring more to the cultural mindset of the leaders across the athletic department, RCAF board, and administration that led to this Hale "incident".
I know I'm asking for something that will not happen, but I wonder if BJ could get the UL Administration to be on his show to discuss the issues that Steve Hale talked about to see just how in tune with those same issues they may, or may not be and what plans they have in place!
OK, you can stop laughing at me now!
