I'm mean if you read a thread based on BWK talking about his own child and don't expect hyperbole, who's fault is that really?
Here's to a great season for young Mr. Brister!

I didn't infer that his view was everyone's view. I wish I wouldn't have even bothered commenting on his post. His POV spoke for itself & also explained the elitist attitude I have gotten from certain people who have never played a down of competitive sports, but have way too much sway & say so in the recruiting process.
C'mon guys. Let's just settle down. It looks like it's starting to get personal. Personally, I don't have a problem with Kyle's post, but that's me. In construction, there's a saying. "Measure twice. Cut once." How about here, "Think twice. Post once." It works for me. There have been many times that I wanted to post about someone else's post and typed it. But after thinking about it, I didn't post it because it wouldn't have helped. It would have only poured gas on the fire. Just my 2 cents.
I've had some cough-cough "debates" with BWK in the past....but y'all need to lighten up. He's proud of his son. If you have a problem with how he expresses it, think about skipping that thread. He posts enough on other topics....there are plenty of chances to argue with him on less personal topics. There are worse things in the world than having a dad think highly of his kid.
BWK we are at 142. We will be later than usual....prolly not there till after 2....
This is nothing but a personal thread, so dont expect anything but personal bantering.
This is a Ragin Cajun message board. Nothing in the original post had to do with UL athletics. It would be one thing if Bandwagon Prince was being recruited by UL and he was reporting positive feedback on a recruit. But he's made it pretty clear UL is not after his son, therefore this is nothing but a personal message. JMO.
Best of luck to this young man. Sounds like a hidden gem.
Think twice, post once? I like to post 20 times and then... slowly start thinking about what I've written. I sometimes get into an argument with myself on here... after I realize how stupid my earlier post was. Then later I apologize and realize I was wrong and that I was actually right earlier. I've given myself "bad reps". Sometimes I sign them, but other times I do it anonymously because I don't want me to know I'm the one that did it. I haven't even given any thought to what I'm writing about right now. Can you tell?
Dude is proud of his fricken son! Get over it. If you dont like what he posts, just skip over em guys. When a man is that proud of his son i find it refreshing. If you dont like how he does it, send him a pm. Not sure why all the vitriol in some of these responses. Is kyles gushing about his son a little over the top? Maybe. So what? Kyle, good luck to your son this year! Hope he knocks em dead and goes somewhere that fits him perfectly.
