"When the Game Stands Tall" is a great movie all parents of high school athletes should see.

My son was one of 23 sr's on his team in 2009. Myself and a few of the other dads would post likewise under "nom de plumes" on ncpreps.com. The head coach got down wind of it and sure enough during a practice, he starts calling out "If you or a parent are posting on ncpreps.com as__________ or _________(he basically read off all the names) didn't stop posting on ncpreps, laps for everyone and a 1st q sitdown if you were a starter. Needless to say, the football dads and moms stopped immediately.
But hey, enjoy that Sr. year, it only comes around once. Shoot all the video you can. Get the boys game film (coaches film) to as many schools as you can. Build a bio on the recruiting web sites. My son had 2 offers, one was from Occidential College in California, they had seen him on another recruites film and started calling. The other was a small christian school in NC that offered all 4 Sr. Offensive lineman on the team after the coaches witnessed a playoff game where my son's school put up 500 yards in offense, without completing a pass. It was more fun than a barrel of drunk monkeys!
Kyle, cajunhawk has been picking on me. Do you think I could pay your son $20 to beat him up?
I think you're gonna have to sweeten the pot. Let's say all the Hooter's wings he can eat on a good Saturday afternoon. Just get CajunHawk to the Hooter's while he's eating & tell him you saw him steal one of his wings while he wasn't looking. Then your worries will be over.
