As to your question about recruiting experiences, I never said that I had son who was recruited for football. My daughter was recruited for softball and played at an SEC school. She was recruited by 4 schools from 3 different conferences. She took unofficial visits to all 4. She took one official visit and that was to the school that she signed with. Things worked out fine for her as she got her undergraduate degree. I will not lie and say that she got a full ride but between the athletic money she received and the academic money she was able to get, she ended up graduating not owing any money.
My whole point is that your son doesn't need you to be his "agent" and try to sell him to the public. If his stats are like what you report them to be, he should already be on the radar of many schools and the stands should be filled every Friday night with coaches checking him out. You seem to be letting your ego get too involved and feel the need to publicly remind everyone of your sons talents. To me, there is a difference between being a proud papa and being an obnoxious one. Take my advice for what it is worth. I am checking out of this discussion from this point forward. I wish your son nothing but the best in his pursuit of an athletic scholarship.
