Student Union Construction.

An interesting development: once I was up on the planters (behind Bayou Bijou) I was able to walk along it all the way to the new food service wing. Once near the new food service, I noticed that they are building a new planter area, or is it to replace that part of the planter? It's hard to see it in pics, but it runs perpendicular to the existing wall, which is leaning and doesn't seem too steady. Can't wait to see how this develops....

Is it possible for them to expand the lake any? Make it larger all the way around, so the RED BULL GATOR the Cajuns Mascot would have a larger home then Mike the Tiger at LSUA&MC, and UL could have Troy with Swamp People come shoot a series TRYING to catch the infamous UL RED BULL GATOR!!!

Looking at the PDF of the New Student Union, the Swamp does not look to be any bigger towards the Union, however the 2 buildings? across the swamp where the old weight room used to be and we could get parking stickers at one time, look as though they will be torn down! If this is SO then the swamp could be made somewhat larger(say a third of an acre) in that direction towards the Boulevard, and we could plant some New Cypress Trees! I will donate some time and money into that project!
