1st pic: behind Wharton, looking towards St Mary. Apparently they are enclosing an area behind Burke-Hawthorne to make a service utility area? Anyway, there will be one less access from/to Wharton-Cypress Lake. You can also see the pretty extensive work being done to enclose the Wharton HVAC system....I really like that detail, :-)

1st pic: View from Buchanan Hall steps, looking towards McKinley. I really like this view; gives the scale of the project.
2nd pic: new entrance Boucher St entrance. With the Rose Garden dorm complex behind and just a few steps from here, this will no doubt make this the main entrance for students. But I guess that's how it was planned, lol.

I took this one Friday: I happened to be driving down McKinley and noticed the construction entrance was open. I ducked in and tried to get the best pic I could, ASAP, lol.
You can see right through the building, and see the Lake.....pretty cool.

One last thing: I really hope, and cannot see why they wouldn't, keep the whole Guillory Hall balcony/deck. It's such a cool, popular hang-out, they would be very remiss in not doing this....but if not that, then build an even better one to replace it. And for goodness sakes, PLEASE repair or replace the brick wall around the lake, and other wise make sure the whole lake is really spruced up.....now more than ever, it will be a real centerpiece for our campus. I'll get off my soapbox now, lol.

Ahhh, the radio annex. So far behind the times that anyone trained there has to be retrained by their employers after college.

Some pics from this morning. First off, the progress in between Wharton & Burke-Hawthorne. The work to disguise the Wharton chillers continues, and looks pretty cool, IMHO.
Also, there is a REALLY nice copper cupola that was constructed....it looks like it will go up on the entrance to the B-H plaza? I think this area is going to very special once all is said and done.
