I'm a lawyer and I litigate a lot, him graduating from LSU is not grounds for recusal. He may have graduated 20 or more years before he became a judge. Turbine, I think that the wheels are coming off the train here, you guys are losing touch with reality.

You don't "pounce() on that conflict of interest and ma(k)e it front and center" to get him to recuse himself. You do it to make him meditate on the motives of his decisions.

I guarantee you cases have been altered with this type of exposure.

LSUalum0515 you mentioned in another thread that you were an attorney. I too am a proud graduate of LSU law school but I attended undergraduate school here. UL gave me an extraordinary opportunity to gain a college education. Like many graduates from UL, I was not given anything and we worked long and hard and sometimes against great odds for everything we have obtained. Now we want something others have decided they do not want us to have so, yes, I do compare us to William Wallace and Rosa Parks. Inspiring militants for change they were!

No, but I am a retired teacher who used to support LSU as much as anyone until they used politics to unlawfully outlaw our name change in 1984. And if you graduated from La. A&M, you are a sod-buster by the degree you earned, Homer.

It could happen because it's regional. It doesn't threaten LSU. It doesn't ____ off all the smaller schools. We could have a name we're all proud of and use it as freely as we want to.

I meant that it won't happen because no one...outside of about 5 or so people...want it. I don't!
