    And I'm not.

You don't "pounce() on that conflict of interest and ma(k)e it front and center" to get him to recuse himself. You do it to make him meditate on the motives of his decisions.

I guarantee you cases have been altered with this type of exposure.

The mid-case passing of a new law delegating name change authority to the Legeslature exposed his "no law says you can" logic.

But then none of you really care, right? That's what we've been hearing since '84.
I was six in 84, I could care less what happened almost 30 years ago.

That's going to continue to come out of the mouths of the tanktoppers regardless. So who cares what they think or call us? That is not the point of this fight. We know they will never change their ignorant ways.

LOL!!Boomer, the boogeyman is in the closet! He is anywhere and everywhere except Martin Hall! Let's stop blaming others and start asking why for a change. Send your email to the president and ask the question, why sir?

On the Advocate, I'm busting your balls because you read the NO paper on line and they do not refer to this university as UL or Louisiana. You love Smith so much you gving him a pass? LOL!!

LSUalum0515 you mentioned in another thread that you were an attorney. I too am a proud graduate of LSU law school but I attended undergraduate school here. UL gave me an extraordinary opportunity to gain a college education. Like many graduates from UL, I was not given anything and we worked long and hard and sometimes against great odds for everything we have obtained. Now we want something others have decided they do not want us to have so, yes, I do compare us to William Wallace and Rosa Parks. Inspiring militants for change they were!

Six? Wow, that means I was jumping out of C-130s while you were nothing more than a wet spot on your Momma's thigh and a smile on some guys face.

Doesn't matter what you care about, junior. Everything happening on this issue today goes back to 1984 whether you like it or not.

Also, we graduate 69% of our students and UL graduates 44% of its students. I wouldn't head down the academic road if I were you.
No, but I am a retired teacher who used to support LSU as much as anyone until they used politics to unlawfully outlaw our name change in 1984. And if you graduated from La. A&M, you are a sod-buster by the degree you earned, Homer.

I meant that it won't happen because no one...outside of about 5 or so people...want it. I don't!

You sure like to talk the talk. If we're so "laughable" to you, how about let's change the law right now. Nah, we both know that that'll never happen. Too much "not caring" going on. Now that is "laughable".

That is about the most pompous, elitest post I have read in a long time. UL is all about opportunity not who your daddy is. I am reminded once again why people hate attorneys.

Everything he has learned has been from Tigerdroppings...with a minor from Dandy Don's.

    Not accurate.

From 1901-1921 the gameday mascot was a youth from the community. The heavily Cajun community.

    Then came the Bulldogs.
