Applewhite will be a head coach at a BCS school. I dont think he will have to coach at a mid major first and if he does it will be at a midmajor with a budget more than twice ours. Also a school that isn't known for being a dead end to coaching careers.

terry bowden has a 1yr/$100,000 contract with UNA right now. I think Terry went to Div. II to see if he could still coach at the college level. since he's 9-0 i would expect him to try and move up either after this season or in the next few seasons. I think either get Bowden, Bumpas, the Def. Co-ordinator and D-line coach,from TCU, or One of the Off. Co-ordintors from Boise St..

In a perfect world Tubberville would be my first choice. He is a proven winner. Bower is lower profile, but also fits that mold.
Have nothing against the other coaches mentioned except the HS guys. We do not need a HS coach.

No.... Terry led Auburn to a perfect season his first year there although they had post-season sanctions on them by the NCAA so no national championship or bowl game fir them. His brother had the undefeated season at Tulane and finished out the season in the top ten.
