Des signed a 3 year deal, but it's not guaranteed money. No contract is ever guaranteed in the NFL.

Mike's agent said he signed a three-year deal. It's not guaranteed. He needs to make the active roster to be paid according to those terms, likely the league rookie minimum. (That's for Mike, his wife and agent to know, not me.). The money is different if he only makes the practice squad.
