His only pre-draft workout was with New Orleans. He got calls from at least 15 teams leading up to the draft, including Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Tennessee, so don't be shocked if he gets a chance with those teams.

What happened to all the Bear love around here a week ago? I hope we all agree this guy deserves his NFL shot. He said he wanted to return punts. I'm sure the Saints or someone else will give him a shot. I would love to see Fenroy doing this in the NFL.

Tyrell Fenroy's stay with the Bears lasted all of about a week.

The Bears released the running back Tuesday afternoon.

The undrafted free agent from Louisiana-Lafayette was one of nine players the team signed to a contract shortly after the draft. The Bears now have 69 players under contract and 78 on the roster. The nine draft picks do not count against the 80-man roster limit until they have signed. So, in theory the Bears could add 11 free agents at this point.

Well, Tyrell will never be able to Ike Talor himself into a job.

He needs to be seen and would need a team with as few backs as possible for that to happen.

There is also the very very long shot that the Bears are trying to hide him.
