. . . also, until the combination of high schools in the 80’s, none of these high schools had football . . . Fatima, Holy Rosary, Arnauldville, Loureville, Sunset, Maurice, Meaux, Indian Bayou, E. Broussard, Pecan Island, . . .
One thing I noticed is the tailgating on Congress is DEAD. I mean NO ONE. You have to get people out there. Go cheaper per game. Give a parking pass and free tickets. Get people out there. With the cost of everything going up, give people a reason to tailgate. $100 gets you a tailgate spot, 4 tickets and a parking pass for Ga State. Seems pretty easy. If $100 doesn't draw people in... do it for $50 for Southern Miss.

I feel we have to fix what to have to take care of the loyal fans that already goes to the games. Make it enjoyable for the fans you have attending and we will bring others. Lets say we have 30,000 fans at homecoming are we really prepared for all those people. I'd say no, so let clean our house before inviting others to the party. Sometimes I visit Tulane stadium and think they did it right not too big and a decent product on the field with desirable home games. We all want to see more butts in the stands but sometimes you got to give the people what they want before they will come out and spend lots of money on your product.
I think we should go back to making the majority of the parking lot first come first serve and tailgating free to bring back the party vibe. If we can’t get people in the gates we surely won’t get them in the stands. #MakeTailgatingGreatAgain
