Some of us will disagree I personally don't mind paying for convivence if we give away tailgating spots a couple of things can happen.
Anybody can get a spot could be good or bad.
The normal tailgaters will be turned off and may not go to games then you're losing season ticket holders.
There are tailgaters with tradition that you would take away.
Does anyone on here that agrees with free tailgating have a tailgating spot. Why don't we make everything at the game free, tickets, parking, concessions and tailgating.
In addition to those things:
1) they embraced their history
Ie: conference championship banners under and around the stadium; letter winners highlighted with banners under stadium
2) the music played was played at the right times and football appropriate (got the players and fans going- metal and gangster style rap)
3) concessions moved fast
4) the radio broadcast was audible under the stadium in bathrooms etc.
5) current NFL players were mentioned multiple times during the game (this would help with recruiting and having a "big time" feel
6) people were setup tailgating all over- not just in a central area; it felt more "organic"
Nothing major but alot of little things that added to the GameDay experience
One thing that could help with in game atmosphere tremendously but is something that will never happen is converting our band into a show style band.
A mixture of an Ohio state band and the local HBCUs. I attended a public high school with a show style band and they were 100x funner than private school bands.

Louisiana's first band 1901 was a street style marching band.
When you're on the north end zone side of the field you can't hear the band anyway..
South end zone is better as long as the PA guy isn't blaring songs over them
We need the two people who DJ the Friday Morning Breakfast Jam on Hot 107.9 FM. Not sure what happened with the other guy, but the two person team that used to do the show (one of the original duo is still running it.) It's as good as it gets. I'd put them against ANY Stadium in America. They have every song you've ever heard at any bar in Lafayette going all the way back to the 80's. They put together crazy re-mixes then change it up going all out Plaza. Talk about bring back an entire generation of Lafayette residents. Yea, the Castles in the sky and all that Blue Skies, etc.
This is an idea only, a serious one. We need more than Football at this point. If you watched the Saints @ Foxborough today, you prob noticed that amazing new video board they installed. If the future of the Swamp wants to be a "mixed use" facility, hosting concerts and such, a video board of that kind could be used as an outdoor theater screen.
Only suggestions.
