    I am with M$M on this one. Marlin did get the team to the dance, so a little credit is warranted.

    Two NCAA and one NIT in 13 seasons. That’s slightly better 23% in post season. So yeah a fluke when you consider middle of the pack most seasons, and semifinals in the tournament just twice, maybe three in the NIT season. Can’t recall for sure.

    Was it not clarified that the automatic 1 x year contract extension clause for winning a conference championship was removed from Marlin’s 2022-2023 contract?

    His history while at UL says he should have been gone. Some folks will also say you are only as good as your last season. He did get to the dance, so yeah he deserves a little credit.
