Really stellar web gems from Hood, Debarge and that awful CC RF
The program makes a regional about once every 4 years on average.
They made one last year, and while it may not be likely, could still do so again this year.
And in the last 12 days, they have wins over the #1 team in the country and the #6 team in the country.
I think a lot of people have “the standard” placed a little higher than where it is in reality.
We are not making a regional this year. Hell we are going to struggle to make our own conference tournament. Our standard should be a regional every year. We are in a good enough conference for the top 4 teams to make a regional each year. Top 4 in our own conference should be the standard
We are an average (at best) team in an above average conference.
SWAC, southland, and moral victories don’t get us into the post season, unfortunately. Hell, with the Jekyll and Hyde team we have, we could miss the conference tournament. So, yeah I think we have a right to be upset when we ____ away wins with passed ball’s, hit batters, walks, etc.
We are in the most frustrating section of D1. We solidly in the top 30% RPI, good enough to compete with the best for a game or two.
We just don't have enough juice to compete for an at large bid right now.
So, we wind up looking on as the good teams we beat for a game, LSU, Campbell, Coastal, probably USM all host regionals.
Nothing is more frustrating than being close enough to taste an at large, but it's just out of your grasp
We have made great progress under Deggs leadership. We are close, but need to fix some ____ before we get over the top.
Mediocrity and crap
This Cajun team isn’t great. But they are in the top 75% of teams in the country in the RPI.
And they are middle of the pack in the Sun Belt, which is the 5th best conference in the country…out of 30.
I’m not sure what your definition of mediocre is, but it doesn’t match what the actual one is.
If you “_____ despise this team” so much, why do you continue to follow, watch, and comment about them?
That seems weird.
