Didn’t play college ball but I was always taught growing up to never look at strike 3. Most people are taught that.

Why didn’t you play college ball?

I'm going to key in on the pitching development. We have 20 pitchers listed on the roster. Do you think there's a possibility that 2-3 improved and figured it out on their own? Something clicked? We went to pitching by committed 3/4 of the way through the season. There is a longshot that coaching improved those 2-3 guys. Call me skeptical. We need a pitching coach so bad. This offense would be competing for the regular season championship and possibly a low 1/high 2 seed if we even had decent pitching.

I gave you a couple of examples. I could give you a few more.

While I get your concern, I think we have to be fair here. To have a half dozen (or more) pitchers developing and then say they did it on their own is unfair, even though it might fit a narrative.

As I said earlier, I had the same concerns as you. But I'm seeing it happen. Maybe not as fast or as across the board as we'd like.

But it should be noted that we had pitchers that never developed, even under Robe.
