I believe Greald said that the rain really made a slop of the track project and it was now about 6 weeks behind.

It's been dry for two weeks have they started back?

I Know that the Tech game is the main topic, at the moment capturing our attention, as it should be. Perhaps some photos showing the progress on the track/soccer staium may provide a brief interlude to that very disappointing loss last night. Progress seems to be a little slow, but there is evidence that it is progressing when compared to earlier photos. I will attempt to update the progress by photos on a monthly basis.

Nice shots, CC! Thanks! It does seem to be taking an inordinate amout of time to complete this project. Not only are the track & field teams waiting, but also the soccer team. Hope they can complete this as soon as possible (but still do it right)!
It is my understanding that they want to get the infield seeded(don't know what type of grass) and grass growing to prevent getting dirt on the track surface once it is laid. Well, the season for getting grass started from seed is about at its end. Perhaps I am being pessimistic, but I don't see this project being finished until next year, if they are waiting for grass to grow. It also looks to me like their is a lot left to be done that involves the infield, before they are able to seed the infield.
Good idea, hope it works for them.

Another early Sept photo. I am not certain what these trenches are for. Perhaps drainage.
