However, let me assure you that Northwestern is not a bastion of athletic success, nor is it a step up from UL. As the season proved the offense was not the problem last year.

May not be a step up but certainly at present they are just as good. Seems another state school in the same conference as NW State beat the crap out of us this year and put more fans in our stands than anyone for a long time.
