Regarding Hundley's decision to leave the team - we really need to just let it go. The young man made a decision - his decision - to no longer be a RC football player. I like the original question; i.e., "where is JH?" But regardless of "why" he quit; that's something he has to deal with. No sense in bashing the young man. If he goes to McNeese, NSU, or podunk U; good luck to him. If he stays in school at UL, then ditto - good luck in the academic pursuit. Time to put this to rest. He made a choice, now let's all move on. We have plenty of remaining players to support.

If he goes to McNeese, he could quarterback them to another victory of UL in the next couple of years, should we play again. Wouldn't that be an even worse scenario than this year? It seems to me he is just the wrong type of QB for the system we run. He was a top recruit out of high school and could likely do well in the right system. Wish him well.
NATCHITOCHES -- Scott Stoker used to think that three quarterbacks was at least one too many. Last season, it wasn't enough.
"I thought two was way too many sometimes," the Northwestern State coach said. "I learned a lesson."
After losing all three of his scholarship quarterbacks to injury last season, Stoker re-evaluated his thoughts on depth at that position. When former La.-Lafayette quarterback John Hundley contacted Stoker about coming to NSU, Stoker accepted, even though he already had two returning quarterbacks who had started multiple games.
Hundley was in Natchitoches for the start of the new semester Monday. He has two years of eligibility remaining, and is expected to jump right into the mix at quarterback with junior Germayne Edmond and senior Drew Branch.
"It's going to make for an interesting competition," Stoker said. "I told those guys (Sunday) night, it's wide open, and the evaluation starts today."

Good luck John. I wish he would have stuck in out at UL, but understand. The competitiveness took over. However, he would have had a shot to play when Des went done earlier in the season.
Hope Northwestern St. doesn't go on some hard times next year or John will have to quit AGAIN.

Hey Pride "Nut", why don't you grow some balls & tell your name & where you can meet John & discuss this!
What is there to discuss...I didn't quit anything. BTW, my location is under my name.
