Seth Adams wants another chance to make a lasting impression.
The defensive tackle, listed as a senior this season, can earn an additional season of eligibility if he completes at least 80 percent of his degree requirements by the end of the academic year. Adams sat out his freshman season to become academically eligible and is on track to return for the Ragin' Cajuns in 2009.
Adams, a big man with a big laugh, spoke with The Daily Advertiser before the end of preseason camp about his academic progress, life away from football and his dreadlocks.
Question: What are you excited about going into this season?
Answer: It's the first game. I want to see everything pay off - all the hard work and all the sprints. We're ready to see how it all pays off.
