The other big thing that I know Rick, being an ex QB has not forgotten, the Offensive line will have to step up. There is a lot of good but young talent there. I want to see less belly fat and more road grading this year...
Indeed, both of those QB's did very well (especially against us), but I question what the long term effect will be on the QB position at LA Tech. How did bringing in transfers for their starting QB position these last two years affect the morale of the QB's already on their roster? Did it negatively affect the development of any of the young QB's on their roster? I guess we'll find out in a matter of a few weeks. That being said, I'm very glad Jennings will be a Cajun this season. I think we need him badly.
At LSU, AJ was in the wrong offense. He's not a pro style QB. He was a square peg trying to fit in a round hole. I've heard that he's actually a smart guy, so if he picks up this offense rather quickly, it definitely changes the scenario for this team. I think that it's just a matter of terminology for him.
I get all the positives and I've come around on the idea.. He's athletic and throws a deep ball. I also like that he's decisive (for better or worse).
But my god, watching his games.. He can't hit the broad side of a barn. You can't coach accuracy.. Idk, I'm just REALLY hoping Davis steps up.
