Also before Tuesday night's game these were there stats. Look at both passing and running, nearly identical.

    No, you're 100% correct Melrock.

Like you, I'm not advocating for Nixon. Only pointing out that C4L doesn't recognize victories against schools outside of UL's division of play. So according to his own standards, Haack is winless. That's a key stat.

Ok, if you think so. 17 for 44, keep defending the indefensible.

Duggie, you bring basketball into your argument just goes to show how weak it is.

Nixon is the 10th best QB is the Sun Belt.

I don't really have an argument. In multiple posts, I've stated I don't know the solution to our problems, only that what we've seen the last few games won't cut it. Whether Haack or Davis is the answer? I admittedly don't know enough (whether inside info or fball smarts) to know that.

As far as bringing basketball into this, that's all you buddy. I'm not the one who said those wins & stats don't count. All you.

----Ah check out the TDs and interceptions!!! I hate this because I don't like talking against any player, especially a kid like Haack---I hope this is a more Nixon has than less has Haack thing----That said give me a QB that can hurt you both with his arm and legs!!!

Pretty sure he says they don't count for Marlin, never heard him say it didn't count for the players. Wouldn't surprise me if nwst could beat txst.

Stats are meaningless without the details. We analyzed the crap out of our QB situation, Boomer. It's a fact that Nixon is a dual threat QB. But his arm isn't much of a threat right now. How much of that is on him, the receivers and/or the coaches... is the question. I'm not impressed with his arm motion or accuracy, his command in the pocket, or his decision making. He runs extremely well. But you cannot assess either Nixon or Haack effectively with the multitude of other failures going on around them. And the focus should start and end with coaching.

If you leave coaching out of the QB discussion, you don't need to post.
