Normaly being around the rest of the crowd is fun, but with the price of gas, and all the noise those generators make, having electrical hook-ups is VERY nice. And we take our Friday night pre-tailgate party pretty seriously. Having a spot like Blackum would be kind of nice, IMO.

Show us RESPECT like we have showed your fans that have made the effort, and we will forget. Expect us to cave, then forget it.

The ball is in your court. Saying NOTHING can be considered a good thing at times. _
Did I ask you to kiss our asses? No. You make it sound liek you are a poor innocent victim of the mean old UL fans. I gave you an example of why many of us don't feel the need to be hospitable to you. If any thing it seems to be you that consideres "an effort" to be UL fans kissing your asses. This is a two way street.

And once again, you show up on a UL board dictating to UL fans on the right way to think. Maybe you need to follow your own advice about saying nothing.

I'd say the same thing about our fans.

Maybe, what is one person's "defending till the death" is another person's attack, and vice versa.

You are no more passionate about McNeese than we are about UL. We are no less passionate about UL than you are about McNeese.

BUT if you want to call a truce (and this post is indeed an olive branch) and stop by for a hand shake, great food, and a beer, I think you will find out from a couple of your other fellow posters I'm a pretty nice guy, that loves my Cowboys and just happens to not take any _____ or disrespect.

  7. UL Football Football Begins Friday As Cajuns Report

LOUISIANA La – Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns football team is one day away from the start of a new season, as head coach Rickey Bustle’s squad ushers in the 2007 campaign with its first official team activity Friday.

Bustle begins his sixth fall camp two days earlier than at any point under his watch in Cajun Country. The earlier reporting date will allow for the Cajuns to take Sundays off during camp. The near completion of the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility will ensure the Cajuns’ practices will proceed as scheduled.

One hundred five student-athletes will check into dorm rooms, gather for a team meeting, undergo physical exams and finalize equipment fitting throughout the day Friday.

The 2007 edition of the Ragin’ Cajuns begins practice Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Twenty-two seniors begin the march toward their final campaign of their college career. Saturday’s practice will begin a 20-day camp schedule, highlighted by four two-a-day sessions.

Default Re: Question for UL Football TV games this year..

Usually when CSS shows an SBC game, it is an ESPN+ game, and can be picked up on Cox.

We have CSS here in TN, and get quite a few of our games on, but it is mostly an SEC station.

They do show a lot of college baseball, which I enjoy, and have a decent roundtable sports show (dealing with Southern teams).

I am surprised that CSS has not moved more into Louisiana.
