And yet five graduating senior football players from the Acadiana area will be experiencing a football All-Star trip of a lifetime with a Louisiana All-Star team in the Down Under Bowl tournament in Sydney, Australia.
Kaplan's Kade Abshire, Opelousas Catholic's Jonathan Irving and the Notre Dame trio of Drake Kelly, Lane Anzalone and Phillip Brown will be five members of a 23-player Louisiana team flying to Los Angeles and then to Australia on Tuesday.
