I am going to post this one more time....the Board made its decision....we have to live with it and hope for success.....no one but no one wanted Steve to get this job more than me. HE has moved on and he loves the Cajun fans and UL and wishes nothing but the best for us. I know of no one on this fan board who does not want the best for our University and it's Athletic Dept. I was privileged enough to work side by side with Steve on Coach Stokleys staff in the late 1980's. He has been a good friend of mine for 29 years. I am moving on from this and I ask every UL fan to do the same....Geaux Cajuns

The poll results are convoluted. I can't blame some people for giving Jim some 10 marks. Maybe they think he's perfect for this job... but I think it's mostly trying to give our new guy a strong welcome. They may also be trying to offset some of the negativity surrounding the interview process.

In all seriousness... I hope every one of us supports Jim so he can support us.

It is ironic that most of the folks on RP actually have a positive feeling about the hire. It is the small minority that is yelling the loudest. Maybe it is time to give this man a chance and move on.
