Also helps to create fellowship with the university.

How about this project. "Leave a legacy", get EVERY alumni to give $10. Some will give more, but just think of this. 1. Get people involved back into the university. 2. Make people feel as if they are part of something. 3. Make it happen and social media it to death, so people can feel good. 4. Contact people and renew excitement for UL. If the person, whomever that could be, fails miserably, at the least, they may ignite a fire for someone else to grab the torch and start running with it.
Ant pile theory. 1 ant, no problem. 1,000,000 ants, problem!
92 years old and still going strong. Great Story

I was able to walk thru the new 'U' this morning: still some work to be done, but I was still blown away. FWIW, I was not alone: there plenty other 'veterans walking around.
For those lucky enough to be local, I highly recommend doing the same. For those not close enough to heaven, I took some pics.
1st pic: 1st floor, west side, view of the courtyard looking towards the food wing/guillory hall 2nd pic: a look at the celing...there is a lot of beautiful mahogany? wood thru out. Nice/rich looking
3rd pic: still 1st fl, looking at the hallway between the west/east side. What I also like is that are NUMEROUS sitting alcoves, with cool and comfy seating.
More pics:
Views from the second floor hallway connecting the two wings. Great views of the courtyard/cypress lake. To the right are a bunch of conference rooms, as well the new Forum.
More: First floor, east side.
1st pic: an art gallery.
2nd pic: the end nearest the lake.
3rd pic: the bookstore, which is not open yet.
4th pic: a smallish cafe; adjoing the gallery, with the bookstore to the left.
