What is the true capacity of the stadium? I get all kinds of numbers. It is hard to estimate how may are standing up. But my guess is around 600. I walked completely around the stadium and estimated that amount. Looking into the stands from every angle I say a lot of empty seats where when you look from a sitting position it seems full. So the 25K+ may be close....turn stiles would be the answer. If you need to leave and return go through a gate where they scan you out and in....The free loaders that stay under there tents and don't come in just forget about them. They don't count in my book either way........

It's probably a good thing attendance was down. Less people to witness that atrocity!

I have so much trouble believing it was only
25k. Does anyone have a crowd shot from the game?

I can't get upset that 12,000 Southern fans were replaced by 2,000 LA Tech fans.

PS my numbers may be off by a lot, my point stands.

    It was 28,263. I counted.

  9. Default Cajuns plan to work way back after blowout loss

Trying to put Saturday night's 48-20 upset loss to Louisiana Tech in the rearview mirror, Mississippi-raised UL Mark Hudspeth turned to his roots Monday.

He did so knowing where the Ragin' Cajuns are headed next, taking to the road for an SEC Network-televised meeting Saturday with No. 14 Ole Miss.

  10. Default Cajuns find themselves at surprising early crossroads

Things don’t always go as planned.

For instance, look what happened Saturday night at Cajun Field when LA Tech obliterated hometown Louisiana 48-20 in a game that wasn’t even as close as the four-touchdown final spread.
