Thread: 2014 Louisiana (20) vs La. Tech (48)

The Cajuns became noticeably punchless when Robinson left, with most of their offense being predicated on the read option and short passes to the flat. The majority of Broadway’s 31 pass attempts traveled less than 10 yards in the air.

The result was an offense that gained just 112 second-half yards before backup quarterback Brooks Haack led an 84-yard drive to end the game.

“We probably should have taken a few more chances, looking back in hindsight,” Hudspeth said.

The Cajuns also didn’t have the services of dynamo Elijah McGuire, who looked like he was going to be heavily involved early before the Bulldogs bottled him up. McGuire sat most of the second half but, when asked for a reason why he wasn’t inserted back into the game, Hudspeth said he didn’t know the answer

What the hell? For being HEAD COACH of a COLLEGE FOOTBALL team, you "don't know" the answers to simple questions like this?? My God...

Start worrying about North Texas on the road on a short week...you won't get all the breaks two weeks in a row.

As the head coach, his response was definitely BS.

As far as Mcguire, when the game ended, it looked like he was somewhat limping straight to the tunnel.

I'll be honest, I don't remember much from the end of the game. A good amount of beer, plus being severely ____ed off, definitely cluttered my brain.

Well I'll say this. Going by what the Southern game had and what this game had, I really don't think that official number is far off. I kept looking around at different points to notice a disturbing trend of people STILL getting into the game mid 1st quarter. I'd say when I looked around mid 2nd quarter was about the fullest time. About 9-10 rows each of Top Left and Top Right of UD were empty. No one sat on the hill. The whole 2 sections to the left of Tech fans were empty. There were A LOT of areas throughout where there were 2-3 empty seats on average around people.

With all that said, 27-28K sounds more realistic, so that 25.5K announced doesn't sound too off.

Someone asked me what I thought we had for attendance during the 1st or 2nd quarter and I said 25k maybe 26k. Now my response might have been based on previous attendance figures, but I do not think we he had 30k there on Saturday.

Lol then you say "O yeh Eli got knicked up and I realized that when our running attack was a moot point, it was best to save him for next week"
