I like the shade tree cafe. Outdoor seating only.

For a unique dining experience, try Bread & Circus on Saturday nights from 10:00 pm to 12:00 am. They roll out a special menu where the sous chefs cut up and get creative. It's sort of like an underground supper club with some of the most unique treats I've eaten in a while. Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) Wings and Prosciutto and Quail Egg Pizza are what I ate last time I was there. If you are feeling adventurous, check it out.

I must be the exception to the rule. I've been several times and never had a remarkable experience. Most recent visit; the music was way too loud and my wife and I each had a shrimp pasta dish. Neither of us got more than 3-4 small shrimp.

Very disappointing, because they're in a good location for me to have lunch there more frequently. Hopefully you have a better experience than mine. I really want to like the place...

Cricket's on Freeman. Good home cooked plate lunches, portions that'll leave you hurtin' if you try to eat it all.

I go pretty regularly. If you go a little later say 8:15 you usually can get a table fairly quick. If you can't they have a great bar and Canebrake, NOLA Blonde, and Teche Hwy 31 on tap. My favorite place to go as it is really close. Best crabcake.

What hotel you guts staying at?
Probably off I-10. Same place the Miss. Reporter stayed out. Gosh no I hope we don't do that again. 😁

I'm not sure, one of my buddies booked it.
