Go to hook and boil in Broussard. Get their boiled shrimp. Thank me later.

I will say this though: The restaurants I listed's longevity of doing business in this town would beg to differ about being the WORST in Lafayette. We have a pretty good way of weeding out the bad eateries in town. But then again, you put Villager's Cafe on the same level as Olde Tyme
La Pagua is seriously some of the worst Mexican I've ever had. Tried it twice.

I lived next door to Olde Tyme and know Ross and Glenn well.. Villagers can hold its own big cat.

    Agree!

Dwight's and Dwyers both are better selections.

I agree, there are so many better places than prejeans .....Riverside is prob the best, but off the beaten path, so might not be worth it. Don's Seafood hut is every bit as good, and very close/easy to find on Johnston. My favorite is Blue Dog, however, and that's even closer to campus.
What hotel you guts staying at?

Don't know about the best but I'd eat Maya's over La Pagua any day.

And for Lux Tex Mex, obviously Coyote Blues
