GOOD LORD AMIGHTY, DON'T GO TO WALK-ONS. Food is just nasty, service is slow, and it's owned by a couple of L-State washouts who remind us of it every commercial they run.

Go to Prejeans, Don's Hut, or even Sakura, there are TVs behind the sushi bar and a few tables in front of it where you can sit with the wives.

Or how about this: just go to the tailgating area, look for TV screens. But don't get too close to anyone until you're sure you want what they're cooking, because they'll probably force feed you.

But you'll get beer, good food, and best of all, it will be free.

Ok, I'm probably scratching walk-ons off the list. I do know if my wife is down with bumming food at tailgates. I married WAY over my head. I do appreciate the input.

Pretty sure your wife wont have a choice. Thats whats different about UL tailgating, you dont have to ask....we offer and dont take NO for an answer.

Z, bring two bowls for the boxer (his and hers) and I'll bring the Purina. He can just drink out of the ditch.

Years ago after Middle whupped our butts, I was talking with one of their fans, he said only one person had been rude to him the whole time he was in Lafayette. I asked him what happened.

He said, "I was walking by this tent, a guy slammed down a plate of food and said, 'You're eatin' this!'"

Call Marcello's, see if they have some tables in front of the bar. That is amazing food, just amazing, and you'll be able to see the bar TVs.

Just got home. Great time in Lafayette!

Based on your suggestions, we had lunch Bons Temps, and it was really good. Then, after the game we went to Deano's. That was one of the better pizzas I've ever had.

Thank y'all for pointing us in the right direction. Oh, and it's just a game...

Hey I didn't think you could talk your friends into pizza?

    I guess wins work wonders.

We thought about Blue Dog for lunch, but they weren't open. With Deano's being so close to the stadium, we chose it for the postgame celebration--and they certainly came through (great food and service). I figured we'd win the game btw. That's why I predicted it...

Well enjoy the win...while you can.
