Looks like these season ticket holders are solid sources. ESPN is reporting he was offered and will accept the coaching position. Here is the link just in case you need a source....http://espn.go.com/college-football/...-bobby-petrino

Not really hard to see why we all go the Sunday night chats, T. Once again, you are the man.

I also do not think he would make a good AD while he was the football coach.
    I agree. I don't see Hud as a great X's and O's guy.

I wasn't trying to call you out. I was just saying "season ticket holder" in general isn't the best source. We could end up with opposing team's fans quoting Boomer for god's sake.

Hopefully we will be able to get the salary up to 1.2-5mil by the time all these things will have to be dealt with. I would think that you could find a really quality coach for that kind of cash.
NDSU's coach already has a new job.

I understand, but who am I to challenge them on what they know about their own program? They've been good about keeping me in the loop when something comes up at Western Kentucky...like when Petrino was hired. As for Boomer, I don't have a translation manual to quote him! LOL!!!

---I am just kinda thinking that from the years of experience as HC, and then Navy OC, and then the passing coord at MSU, and then the success we have had with the UL program that he would be on top of the game---but I can't say for sure----Does anybody know??? I would love to know what his peers would consider his ranking in that category!!!!

I know that...read it a bit more carefully...I said he comes to mind as the type of fcs head coach. He has won their NC..beaten FBS schools, received AP votes etc..etc.

I don't know why, it just popped in my head.
