Marlin needs to win more games, especially out of conference. But, I think anyone who watches this team would be excited about the future.

However, this program needs to start turning around, I personally still feel Marlin is the guy to do it.

I'm not debating that the program needs to improve more quickly. I simply believe Marlin is the guy to get it done. And if you look at the roster, we have two guys Long and Payton who are better than anyone we've had in a long time.

Remember in 2004-05, when we had an NCAA tourney team we beat McNeese on a Chris Cameron 3 at the buzzer. And McNeese was not very good.

I am confused. I thought Jones had back to back 20 win seasons and then got way above .500 last year. And when it mattered(conference tourny) we lost to NT last year.
I am in no way making a determination on this team by last night. Teams have off games on the road. I just think we are a mediorce team in a bad conference. It is fair to give this team a few more weeks before writing off the season, but improvement has been too slow.
