No. But we should, because we're the better team. Period. Any losses from here on out are dissappointing, because we're better than WKU, MT, ULM, Ark. St, and Arizona. Period. That's not cocky. Just truth. Our defense is better, and our offense is better. And we have the best punter in the nation. he pinned FIU inside the 5 5 times I believe. 11-1 is what this team is capable of. 8-4 would be an underachievement.

WOW, did I just say that?
I agree, that's my point... I feel like a lot of people are thinking 11-1 or 10-2, which led to this thread, it's amazing that fans are saying that 8-4 would be a disappointment, and at this point, it really would be!!

I did not say it was bad, in fact it is great. Breaks are a part of the game and I think a byproduct of hard work. I fully expect a SBC championship from this team but will still be cheering them on in the NOLA bowl no matter what the record is.

This is the best post I have read since joining this site. Had anyone told me this team would be 6-1 after the OSU game I would have asked them which part of their head they fell on when they were a baby. Now, I am thoroughly convinced this team is better than every team they play from this point on. 11-1 is the benchmark now because this coach, his staff, & most importantly these players have made it the new benchmark of excellence for this school. Anything less, now, would disappoint this team & therefore disappoint me as a fan. 10-2 may be the final tally if ASU plays a great game & gets all the breaks, but this team is on a collision course with its new destiny, & its new destiny is that of a champion.

Have you not seen ASU play. If not than set your Recorder or go to ESPN3.. they played serouis D last night against a healthy FIU. No doubt ASU Is the Best Team on our schedule. And we will be the underdog in that game

ASU probably is the best team left on our schedule. But, the reason they'll be favored is that it's at ASU. I expect the spread to be 3. UL played FIU well. If you watched that game, you'd have noticed FIU's freshman QB was extremely effective. "We knocked" Carroll out of that game, but that freshman was no slouch. Also... Ladarius Green has been our T.Y. Hilton. Hilton wasn't 100% and neither was LG. I consider that a push.

Another large point on the Cajuns side of the coin going forward... we are a young team with a new coach and staff. When you show what you can do right out of the box with that makeup... it just keeps improving. I don't think we've played our finest game this year by a longshot. It would be good for our best to show up at ASU... and when ULM comes to Cajun Field.

For now... Pop the Toppers! Geaux Cajuns!!!

Asu will be favored Bc they are the Better team..Have played a tougher schedule and have had a decent amount of sucess with that schedule..both there losses are in the top 25..You one loss is to a top 5 okst..The better offense and defense is on ASU sideline...I live in between these 2 schools..I have watched both so for once take a nuetral opinion...Look at statistics..Green is no TY hilton srry its not a push in that aspect..Backup qb might be acurate but was he really trusted to run the offense that FIU would normaly run.. but in between that game ULL ha 2 road games and a home game. i expect 1 loss in there..both teams will control their own destiny.

On NFL Draft Scout Green is the #3 ranked TE while Hilton is the #9 ranked WR, both projected for the 3-4 round. Green is 6-6 with decent speed while Hilton is 5-10 with great speed. Given the height and speed differences it is actually a push. Both make plays in different ways by using their specific skill sets. Don't knock 89, he's a beast.

The better team is the one that comes out of that game with the victory. We will see what the spread for that game turns out to be. If it's 3 points... that is strictly a home field advantage judgement. UL has likely played the worst football of this season... already this season. You don't utilize that many freshmen, with a new coach, and a new staff... and not improve as the season moves in the latter stages. UL is raw and improving. I look forward to the ASU UL match-up. Oh, and statistics are virtually meaningless to me. Matchups are all that matters.

WKU is next. ASU can wait.

This is the same troll that was on last week talking up the Mean Green. I can hear your lingo exactly the same as gomean green or whatever the hell his name was last week. I've got some advice for you Cuz. Go to the `I-10 & I-49 intersection. Drive on top of the East bound side of I-10. Park your Prius In the middle of the bridge & jump over the side that has the southbound traffic from I-49 on it, because you have no life dude & your taking up valuable internet space.
