gotta do well in conference, RPI will be important especially because we're only 1-3 against top 25 (right now)

hopefully Alabama keeps winning, and the teams we've beaten that are up there although not in the top 25 do as well

also the Sun Belt teams are getting some good wins (North Texas over Baylor, WKU over Michigan, FIU twice over Ga Tech) a sweep over South Alabama wouldn't hurt on the road

first off though is sweep Troy! let's go Cajuns

FYI: 13 of the next 16 games are at home and only 9 road games left in the regular season out of 26

LSU shouldn't be ranked IMO. Yes, five of those losses were to number 1 and number 2, but only one of those games were competitive. The only good win was against number 8 Texas.

However, LSU beat Kentucky 2 out of 3 and the Wildcats are still ahead of the Tigers, so who knows.

My question is if LSU does make a regional, will Lady Cajun Park be finished enough that the NCAA will allow UL to host?

I think it would be great if Yvette coached her last game in Lafayette. (And if the Tigers did advance that would be even better).

I guarantee that is the last thing YG wants. She can't beat the LADY CAJUNS (Premiere SOftball team in LA by far) in her litter box park in Baton Rouge, she couldnt' win a Regional at Lady Cajun park when she was coaching here. The sport passed YG by about 3-4 years ago.

Word was also that it would be ready in November. At the snail's pace it's going, I strongly doubt that it will be completely finished this season. Will that be a factor in potentially hosting a regional?

I've spent a lot of time researching and reviewing baseball & softball post season selections etc. I do not believe the selection committee gives any credence to the polls. The amount of data they have available to them is very large and much more relevant than other peoples opinions.

If you see Scott Farmer ask him if he has ever had the polls come up during a selection committee meeting. I'll ask if I see him.

I think your statement works both ways, because I have seen "top 25" teams travel to far off regionals for unexplained reasons. I don't think they are too worried what a team's "rank" is
