gotta do well in conference, RPI will be important especially because we're only 1-3 against top 25 (right now)

hopefully Alabama keeps winning, and the teams we've beaten that are up there although not in the top 25 do as well

also the Sun Belt teams are getting some good wins (North Texas over Baylor, WKU over Michigan, FIU twice over Ga Tech) a sweep over South Alabama wouldn't hurt on the road

first off though is sweep Troy! let's go Cajuns

the reason they are still ranked is because last week no one did well enough to jump them and this week they won the series against #24 Kentucky

I wouldn't worry about that much, we just need to win win win (and we're in, hopefully at home)

Being ranked gives you frontal lobe points, all year. When it is time for the tourney hosting, those frontal lobe points are cashed in.

LSU shouldn't be ranked IMO. Yes, five of those losses were to number 1 and number 2, but only one of those games were competitive. The only good win was against number 8 Texas.

However, LSU beat Kentucky 2 out of 3 and the Wildcats are still ahead of the Tigers, so who knows.

My question is if LSU does make a regional, will Lady Cajun Park be finished enough that the NCAA will allow UL to host?

I think it would be great if Yvette coached her last game in Lafayette. (And if the Tigers did advance that would be even better).

I do see both Notre Dame and Long Beach State (cajun wins) both receiving votes, which puts them in the top 35.

FYI: 13 of the next 16 games are at home and only 9 road games left in the regular season out of 26

We're only at 5 losses heading down the stretch, it could be a special season. See y'all at Lamson
