High school football playoffs

Has anyone been following the high school football playoffs? Last two games today. Ian Auzenne and Brent indest will have both games on WWL radio today starting at noon.

Haynesville/Mangham & Iowa/North Desoto were shootout classics.

St Charles/Shaw was the craziest finish you will ever see.

Jena put up a good fight but Sterlington is unstoppable. We held them to 44 in the quarterfinals & that was an accomplishment.

St Augs/Karr should be the largest crowd in a long time.

Saw a replay of the end of Shaw/St. Charles Catholic game. Shaw player who took his helmet off early resulting in a penalty will struggle with that action for years. That ended up being the extra timeout St. Charles Catholic needed to have a chance. Hopefully he uses it as a teachable moment for others later in life.

Edna Karr is loaded with talent. Their defense did not allow any points. St. Aug scored on a pick six and kickoff return.
