Baseball pitcher isn't the same as fastpitch softball pitcher. In 25 years at Bama she never was the hitting or pitching coach. It's safe to say she doesn't specialize it those areas and that why she will hire others to fill those roles.

You can now have a head coach and 3 paid assistant coaches. On the official roster only two total coaches are shown.
