    Gonna shoot my shot..

Habetz regrets this move and wants to just retire. Shes not trying to hire someone because she's trying to exit.

Not in her competitive nature to do that. She will get the ship sailing right!

    That was my thought also.

I hope so. The moves made this offseason or the lack of moves haven't energized the fan base. This season will tell alot about the future of the program.

I've been having that same thought, but didn't want to say it. I think if she had taken this job after Lotief, she would have had the energy to continue the program at the level of competition we have all grown accustomed to or even win it all. But now, with NIL and buying your World Series team to compete every year, it takes a new kind of coach and energy level that Coach Habetz may no longer have.

    I hope I'm wrong.

If not him, maybe you. You have world series experience.

No pitching for me. Strictly hitting and fielding.

Coach Lacy can move to pitching and you can handle fielding.

From all reports that I received today the Cajuns still don't have a pitching coach who has accepted an offer.
